Cartagena, COLOMBIA: La ciudad murallada (the walled city)

Day 4:
Us ladies took a plane from Bogota to Cartagena, in the Caribbean. It was super easy and cheap. Once we arrived we realized that it was soo hot. So all we could do is ir a la playa! (go to the beach). At the beach there are many cabana huts and bars. We encountered one of these bars on the beach, of course, and we were pleased to meet 3 natives who enjoyed singing classics such as "Who let the dogs out, Who? Who? WHo?" and the like. They were very welcoming and we enjoyed their company.
A plaza in Cartagena, very early in the morning.

One of the streets in Cartagena, check out the flora!

Maria, chilling in the wall of the walled city. The old more colonial part of the city is completely surrounded by a wall, to keep out the pirates back in the day.

A bus, we would flag down to take to the beach.

Pretty!

The beach, the walled city was right across.

A woman, selling fruit on the beach, she has skill!

Me!

Men, rapping to the melody of Dr. Dre. I wonder if he collects any royalties?
