Cajón de Maipo, CHILE: Just a lil' bus ride outside of the city

The new group of ladies and I went on a long weekend adventure to a little place called Cajon de Maipo. It is a valley with many adventurous activities, beautiful sites and clear blue skies. We were all grateful to escape the smoggy city that we have been living in for the past two months. We have made a new friend, Patricio, who showed us some baños and the good places to go. I even went white water rafting, again!! I'm thinking I could get into that as my next profession....adelante, atras, alto!!!
At first we were stuck on the side of the road...

So, I ate an empanada.

However, the view was beautiful.

Termas Colinas. Hot baths in the middle of a valley. Beautiful and relaxing.

San Jose de Maipo.

O'Higgins.

So ready to paddle dpwn el rio Maipo.

Is this a good idea?

Yeah, it was super fun!

Then, we did some conopying, or zip lining.

Pichilemu, CHILE: Which means "little forest" but really it was about BIG WAVES

Traveled down to Pichilemu and enjoyed the relaxing surfer town after finally finishing my TEFL course (which I passed, yay!). We stayed in a "hostel" close to everything. The hostel really felt like a little cottage and we pretty much just had it to ourselves. We celebrated a birthday and some of us even took surfing lessons. I did not because the water felt like ice.
